Nick Thomas
Nick Thomas is Chairman of Qdos Entertainment Plc. Nick started his theatre production business in 1982. By 1988 he had established himself as the world's leading producer of pantomimes and a leading talent manager. Over the subsequent years Nick has built Qdos Entertainment Plc into one of the largest entertainment groups in Europe, specialising in venue management, contract catering, live entertainment production and talent management.
Stephen Hetherington
Stephen Hetherington is non-executive Chairman of HQ Theatres. Stephen led the team that designed, constructed and managed the Lowry, the National Millennium Landmark Project for the Arts. Amongst other projects, he was Director and principle author of the European Capital of Culture Bid for the City of Birmingham.
Derek Nicholls
Derek Nicholls is Chief Executive Officer of HQ Theatres. Derek was theatre director at Churchill Theatre in Bromley where he moved the venue into profitability and attracted major producers. Since 2004 he as been President of the Theatrical Management Association. He is also a Director of the Dance Consortium, and of Stage One (the Theatre Investment Fund).
James Giles
James Giles Managing Director of HQ Hospitality, James was recruited to develop all the Hospitality business within HQ Theatres. His background includes running the catering operations for Shakespeare’s Globe, and more recently the Barbican Centre, Mansion House and Vintners Hall. James has been in the Hospitality business for the last 15 years, successfully re-tendering both the Barbican Centre and Vintners Hall in 2007.
Joseph Seelig
Joseph Seelig is non-executive Director of HQ Theatres and has been involved in UK and international arts management since 1973. He has been artistic director of the New Zealand Festival and international programme director of the Hong Kong Arts Festival. He founded, and is director of the London International Mime Festival.
Paul Parnaby
Paul Parnaby is the Finance and Commercial Director for Qdos Entertainment, its associated companies and HQ Theatres. He trained with Ernst & Young and qualified in 1996, becoming an FCCA in later years. He has been with Qdos Entertainment since 2000.
Jon Conway
Jon Conway is a Director of Qdos Entertainment and is also Managing Director of Qdos Productions.
