Copper Horse, Seamer

Working in the award winning Copper Horse Restaurant and Luxury Cottages which are nestled in the pretty village of Seamer just outside Scarborough, this post represents an excellent opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality, local food & drink and customer service and must be positive, dedicated, hardworking, driven and financially aware with a natural flair for liaising with guests, staff and suppliers alike. Offering a high degree of autonomy the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the restaurant and oversee the delivery of a first-class luxury experience while staying in the Cottages.

Candidates will have a proven track record, in a similar environment, of building a team, staff training and development and financial accountability staff training and development, financial accountability and the achievement of excellence in a service-led environment. This role will be responsible for and contribute to stock control, marketing campaigns and ensuring the cottages meets with all current health and safety regulations. The candidate must be commercially astute, present demonstrable leadership skills, real great attention detail and have a passion for the hospitality industry. Reporting directly to The Chief Executive of HQT&H, you will be required present the achieved and the comparable forecasted revenues, strategically targeting further business through building carefully priced packages and promotions. Exemplary organisational, communication and leadership skills are essential.

Salary: £28,000 per annum plus performance related bonus

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week. The post-holder will be required to work flexibly including weekends, evenings, Bank Holidays, and over the Christmas period according business needs
